Tired of daily texting after one date. Using up all conversation topics?

is it normal to feel a bit tired from texting someone every day when you've only met once? the first date was great, but because of travels we can't meet again for a while. now i'm starting to wonder if we're using up all our conversation topics over text before we even get to know each other properly in person
