PM interview focused on behavior. Senior Quant test stats. Final round: basic stats/coding. Core concepts crucial. Firm values potential. Emphasizes IP protection.

1. First-round PM interview — mostly behavioral questions.

2. Second-round interview with a Senior Quant — focused on statistics; overall quite straightforward.

3. Third-round interview with a PM and another Quant — covered some basic statistics and coding questions.

A few observations:

1. Jump really tests fundamentals in great detail. It’s best not to make mistakes on any of the core concepts.

2. JCS mentioned that they don’t expect candidates to reproduce their previous strategies or research frameworks. They’re mainly looking for potential, so they want strong candidates with solid raw ability.

I also know a few friends working there, and their feedback has been similar. The firm places a strong emphasis on intellectual property protection, which is very different from the culture at some other proprietary trading firms
