DO WHAT YOU LIKE, NOT COMPETE WITH OTHERS
I can never understand why people would still debate and compare between math and cs. It doesn't matter so long you are doing what you like and good at. Even a non thinking soldier in ns wouldn't compare their ns vocation for the whole 2 years so why can't u be not particular about it
I can never understand why people would be so obsessed with deans list. It doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things and only ur overall cap matters. Even a non thinking soldier in ns with a soldier of the month award wouldn't even care about it so how can you be so arrogant
I can never understand why ppl just dowan to take st2334 in nus and trying to map it to winter sch. Its free A+ as long as ur not careless. Even a non-thinking soldier in ns can know how not to be careless when handling weapon so why cant u not be careless
Honestly, I don’t get why people complain about CS1010S. If you’re struggling with loops and arrays, how do you even function in a tech-heavy world? My 14-year-old cousin can write Python scripts, and y’all are here crying over recursion? Maybe some people should reconsider if coding is really for them.
I can never understand why so many tourists would be drawn to the nus campus. There is nothing on campus that is worthy of being a tourist attraction at all. Even a non thinking soldier in ns wouldn't go back and visit other camps on their weekends and off days so why would they be so obsessed with the campus
I can never understand why some penultimate students struggle to secure internships and ultimately settle for roles at companies like NCS, Accenture, or Synapxe through programs like ATAP. While I respect the individuals in these positions, I find it difficult to respect these companies, as they benefit from government subsidies without contributing significant value to Singapore's economy.
Opportunities are not impossible to find—building a strong resume early through internships or projects before Year 3 could have positioned them for better roles. For example, HSBC, BNP Paribas, and TD Bank have all offered me internships, despite me being male and only studying Business Analytics.
Even a non-thinking soldier in NS knows that achieving a goal requires consistent effort—just like how one must build a case over time to successfully chao geng and obtain a downpes outcome. It's ultimately about preparation and taking the initiative early.
Yet, those who downvote me seem content with complacency. As the saying goes, the early bird gets the worm. Hopefully its not too late to reflect.
